Budleigh Salterton's 2018 Gala Week had Raleigh 400 theme

On The Green at the Fairlynch stall museum volunteers, with 'Sir Walter's' help,  sold Tudor-style biscuits and cakes decorated with the Raleigh coat of arms.

Fairlynch Museum Chairman Trevor Waddington wore a smart Tudor costume in a very fetching shade of gold.

Museum trustee Chris Fry looked every inch an Elizabethan lady.
