Filming at Fairlynch for Raleigh 400

BBC Spotlight journalist Johnny Rutherford was at the Museum on 25 May to film the arrival of 'The Boyhood of Raleigh' by the Victorian artist Sir John Millais and interview 'Sir Walter' about its importance.

Adjusting for sound before an interview with 'Sir Walter' at The Raleigh Wall on Budleigh beach, the setting for Millais' painting.

Posing for pictures. Quite a few passers-by with cameras seemed to think that 'Sir Walter' was being played by a famous actor

Filming completed. The arrival of 'The Boyhood' in Budleigh Salterton was a two-minute item on local TV news.
